FLCE (Faculty of French Language and Foreign Cultures) Ideal courses for au pairs or expats

La CLEF is an association supported by the town of St-Germain-en-Laye . For more than 20 years it has been part of the network of cultural and other activities of this community. With all this experience, La CLEF offers F.L.C.E. courses ( French Language and Foreign Cultures) and organises them in a convivial way, and making it fun to learn about French language and culture.

Classes are offered annually and follow the school calendar. They take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings, for 6 hours per week.

On Friday mornings, oral reinforcement classes (termly, 2 hours/week) and advanced classes for B2 and higher levels (yearly, 2 hours/week).

La CLEF is an organization which every week offers concerts, shows, exhibitions, cultural or sporting activities and much more… Learning French at La CLEF therefore is to make the most of an ideal cultural context to progress and integrate rapidly into French life and the local community. Our students can benefit from all the different activities going on at la CLEF, meeting artists, taking part in a sporting activity, visiting an exhibition, going to a concert as well as mucgh more…
French language lessons integrate perfectly with all these cultural opportunities and offer shared fun activities, visits to Paris, and taster sessions of art or craft activities, music and theatre.

Over and above the language lessons, if they wish, our students are invited to take part in workshops to prepare for DELF/DALF exams where we have a near 100% pass rate !
