Lindenwood est une « green school » internationale près de Paris ( à 20 minutes de la Défense) pour les enfants de 3 à 12 ans.

Son programme est 30% en français et 70 % en anglais avec des programmes reconnus : IPC International Primary Curriculum & un cursus international.

The vision

Tucked away in a beautiful village in the west of Paris, surrounded by the calm of nature, Lindenwood offers a unique learning environment that awakens within the child their spirit for life and their natural love for learning. The first international green school, we support and nurture children as they grow to reach their full potential, by providing a child-centered and developmentally appropriate curriculum while also safeguarding the innocence and insatiable curiosity that comes only with childhood.

Curriculum

We are an inclusive and culturally diverse school that welcomes all children from 3 years old to 12 years old. We use the International Primary Curriculums (IEYC/IPC/IMYC) (Early Explorers to Middle School) for all our age groups, harmoniously combined with the guidelines set out by Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Our school offers immersive learning in English and French with a 70:30 ratio through the week.
We have an innovative Early Explorers program that establishes strong foundations from 3 years old, setting children up for a great school life
Whole child learning, taking into account all spheres: cognitive, social, emotional and physical
Ecological approach
A supportive community for children, families and staff.

Lindenwood is the first international green school in Paris. We believe that teaching should address the whole child: head, hands and hearts.
We offer a balanced curriculum that allows us to go beyond just great academics and place equal emphasis on learning in and about nature, taking part in sports, becoming more mindful, celebrating creativity through the arts and acquiring real-life skills, through applicable learning objectives, like working in a permaculture garden and woodwork.
Teaching the whole child allows them to become resourceful, mindful and confident individuals that are able to successfully take part in the world in a meaningful way.

Lindenwood is such a beautiful, innovative, warm, and supportive school! I am so happy to have found it, and the smiles on the children’s face each day shows just how thrilled they are to be there as well. At Lindenwood the children are able to really learn by doing, and grow their love of learning. Some activities the children engage in are gardening, woodworking, large-scale art projects, sewing, making their own videos, knitting, cooking projects! All of this is in addition to the skills like math, science, English, and French that they are teaching as well. It’s a really dynamic learning environment and I couldn’t be happier with it!

We have been at the webinar and we love the philosophy of the school ! It seems to be a good mix between high academics and montessori, positive, caring school. The place in the nature is such a chance for the kids.
