International Players is a friendly, dynamic, and truly international theatre group welcoming members of all ages with a variety of talents.

Tickets : 5€ for non-members and can be purchased at the door either in cash or by card.
In November, the International Players hosted the ‘Get Your Act Together Weekend’, a double header weekend of play readings and an open mic event, and we had such a good time that we wanted to do it again.
Get Your Act Together 2 is an evening of play readings from a variety of authors including Chekhov, O. Henry, Edna St. Vincent Millay and more.
As always, the bar will be open!

Our next show is here! It’s Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park directed by Kate McCarthy.
Barefoot in the Park is a comedy by Neil Simon that revolves around the lives and dynamics of newlyweds Corie and Paul Bratter as they navigate the challenges of married life in a small New York City apartment. The story begins with Corie eagerly exploring their new but chilly and poorly maintained living space, which sets the stage for the contrasting personalities of the couple—Corie, a free-spirited and adventurous individual, and Paul, a more reserved and practical lawyer.
The play showcases the couple’s struggles with communication, expectations, and the realities of marriage. Their relationship is further complicated by the presence of Corie’s mother, who is encouraged to seek love and excitement in her own life. With its relatable characters and situations, the play has become a classic representation of Neil Simon’s style, blending everyday life with comedy and emotional depth.
The show will take place in Villennes-sur-Seine at the Salle des Arts the week of June 1st-June 7th.

45 years of theatre…
The International Players began in 1981, when a group of parents from the Lycée International de Saint-Germain-en-Laye staged a production of HMS Pinafore as a fundraiser for the school. What started as a small community project quickly gained momentum, attracting members from across Les Yvelines and central Paris. Today, we’re proudly based in Le Pecq as a fully functioning loi 1901 not-for-profit theatre association.

We now produce one to two shows each year—ranging from intimate plays to full-scale musicals—and in between, we keep the creative spirit alive with workshops, play readings, and social events throughout the year.
Over the decades, The International Players has produced shows in a wide range of venues. Our larger shows have often taken the stage at the Salle des Fêtes—now known as Le Quai 3—in Le Pecq. We’ve also performed in Saint-Germain-en-Laye at the Salle Jacques Tati and the Maison des Associations, in Marly-le-Roi at the Centre Culturel Jean Vilar, and in Villennes-sur-Seine at the Espace des Arts. All these venues are easily accessible from Paris via the RER A or the J and L lines, making it simple for audiences and members alike to join us.

International Players est une compagnie de théâtre dynamique et internationale,
installée en banlieue ouest de Paris depuis 1981. Elle se compose de membres bénévoles du monde entier, de tout âge et de toute expérience théâtrale.
La troupe se réunit à Saint-Germain-en-Laye ou Le Pecq pour des ateliers, des lectures de théâtre ou des répétitions pour ses deux créations théâtrales annuelles.
A International Players, tout se passe en anglais : quelle que soit leur nationalité, les personnes souhaitant pratiquer le théâtre en anglais peuvent y trouver une atmosphère de convivialité et de bienveillance, ce qui contribue grandement au niveau quasi-
professionnel des spectacles produits.
